Three people were pronounced dead after a vehicle crashed in West Pullman around 11 p.m. Saturday night, according to Chicago Police. Police said they responded to a drag race in the area and observed a vehicle strike a pole, lose control, hit a wall and catch on fire on the 10000 block of South Halsted Street.
Chicago Fire officials said they put out the fire when they got to the scene at 11:04 p.m. Fire officials said the three people who died at the scene were in the vehicle.
The victims are unknown and the crash is under investigation, police said.
