A major fire of a Chicago Heights warehouse broke out Monday morning.
Multiple fire departments responded to the extra alarm fire of the Morgan Li warehouse, 1101 Washington Ave., shortly after 6 a.m., said city spokesman David Ormsby.
The warehouse, which sells furniture and fabrics, was fulling engulfed in flames, Ormsby said. As of 10:30 a.m., the building was still on fire but crews were “making progress,” he said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
