Bolingbrook police said a man was wounded Friday afternoon at Starz Cuttery at 299 S, Schmidt Rd.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting, and when they arrived found an adult male who suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said. The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
An investigation revealed the gunman fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
Police said there is no immediate danger to the public, and asked the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
