Chicago police SWAT officers were responding to a Lakeview home Tuesday afternoon after someone reportedly shot several dogs, authorities said.
SWAT officers were responding to an armed man barricaded inside a home on the 1000 block of West George Street, a police spokesperson said.
Several dogs had been shot nearby, a Chicago Fire Department spokesperson said. One died, and two were transported to medical care, the CFD spokesperson said.
