Two fires caused significant damage this morning.

A blaze near Midway Airport at a catering business that cooks meals for the elderly caused extensive damage. Becky Walowski said Georgis Catering does about 2,000 meals for seniors daily in the suburbs from Calumet City to Dolton and in Melrose Park and Maywood.

And a fire at a Phoenix home left a family of five displaced after a space heater in a back bedroom caught fire, according to the family.
