Victims found fatally wounded in South Loop building identified newstrendslive



A man and a woman found fatally wounded inside a South Loop building Monday afternoon have been identified, officials said.

Chicago police said the man, 36, and the woman, 45, were found with gunshot wounds to the head shortly before 5 p.m. Monday in a building in the 2000 block of South Indiana Avenue. Police believe the fatal wounds happened between 2 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday.

The victims were identified as Joseph P. Fry, and Leticia Zaragoza, of the same address where they were found, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, and detectives were investigating.
